As most of you know, I like to organise a big apoc game every year for 40k. The idea is to bring a big chunk of models, joke and laugh at the silliness of dice and enjoy good company and 40k with a bit of narrative.
Would you be interested in coming? Its 3K pts + 1 free titanic unit (you have to send me the unit in advance so I can vaguely balance). Costs are normally dependent on venue and who is coming (run at cost, as its for fun!).
So who would be up for another dramatic apoc this year. Three years ago, the dark angels relieved a guard force who was besieged by a chaos horde, and whilst wiping out the chaos horde, were unable to catch the instigator of the troubles (Cyp).
Two years ago, a huge ork waagh was diverted by the aeldari on to the imperial hive planet of Tivendus, which turned out to be a sleeping necron tomb. The imperials, and orks were slaughtered, leaving a bunch of very angry necrons to start the slow conquest of the planet.
Last year, the imperials sent a relief expedition to deal with the necron tomb, only to run into a massive chaos crusade. The battle ended with the imperials bedding down in trenches, surrounded and outgunned with the necrons and chaos tearing the planet to shreds.
This year… (to be revealed).
