We are a group of like minded wargamers, who all like to gather and roll dice against each other in games of fantasy or science fiction. The group meets on alternating Thursdays, opening up at 6:30pm (see the event list in the side bar to the right, or below on mobile, to find out when the next session is). It’s that time again, and only a day late! We have January’s Paint Appreciation Society for everyone to reminisce over. Bit of a quiet month, but there is always a lull in January after the holidays, but still some stunning work and amazing progress, keep it up! 🙂 Additionally, I have now amalgamated all 2025’s PAS galleries into a single page, found here. As always, you can find all of this off the Hobby menu at the top.
We get closer and closer, just four weeks now! The announcement for this week is that there will be a Farrow “command starter” as well as one each of a road hog and war hog, though I don’t think that this would be much surprise for those who have attended my events in the past. Next club meet will mark our one year anniversary since the club relaunched and the current Committee took over. We had our AGM last night and thanks to those who attended, we confirmed that people are happy with the way we are doing things and where we want to be going, but more on that in a future post. TTC Presents: Spring Stormrager is a 2 day Warmachine tournament that we are hosting at the end of February. This is a 5 round, 100pt steamroller, using standard scenarios. Tickets are now on sale, along with more information from the events page. This is our biggest and most ambitious event yet, but I am committed to ensuring that everyone can win *something* to feel good about, and don’t forget – even if you end up coming last, the wooden spoon is worth free entry to a future TTC event. What’s the downside?
