We are a group of like minded wargamers, who all like to gather and roll dice against each other in games of fantasy or science fiction. The group meets on alternating Thursdays (see the event list in the side bar to the right, or below on mobile, to find out when the next session is). That was an amazing day – 10 players fighting it out for supremacy, with Luke cinching the final victory. Some absolutely riveting games were being played and it was a joy to watch how things unfolded. Also, congrats to Dan (entry #1) and Rob (entry #3) for drawing the vote in the painting competition – I couldn’t choose the deciding vote, so they both won! There is a definite hunger for more, so watch this space for more future Warmachine tournaments.
What an absolutely smashing evening! The busiest we have been yet!! Loads of 40K, some Bloodbowl, Legions Imperialis, and Kill Team, not to mention the Warmachine die hards getting in their practice ready for the Tivvy-Tussle coming up in just over a week. With just 2 weeks remaining until the Warmachine Tivvy Tussle, I wanted to give an update on where we are and fill in a little more details. First of all, we are currently at 50% of capacity with 8 tickets sold, but there are a couple more attendees giving verbal assurances, so I am currently planning for 10 players / 5 tables. Another great turn out – 3 games each of 40K and Warmachine! Certainly plenty of War to be found, but no glimpse of any Easter bunny…. perhaps it was a casualty….
Two weeks tomorrow is the Tivendus Apocalypse game! There are still spaces available, so check it out and get in touch if you want to participate in this monumental game for 40K! It promises to be a incredible event with a fun GM-led narrative element to help keep things moving.
Last night was yet another packed evening! 3 tables of Warmachine, and also 3 tables of 40K – one of which was a riveting 3 player / 3 way game! However, and this is where the “Oops” is…, I was so carried away in my own game that I forgot to take photos for once, until right at the end when things were all but done and getting packed up! Oh well, I will try harder next time!
The Warmachine Casual Play day was a massive success – many games and much fun for all involved. There is definitely going to be more WM Organised Play to come in the future, watch this space 😉 But for now, pictures are worth more than words so take a look!
