Farewell to March, Bring on April!!

Lots more awesome games last night! if you look closely (this week, and previous) you can even see some beautifully painted models from SFG’s upcoming Warmachine 2 Player set – Shadows and Scum, as our regular member Kurt gets some games in ready for some future Elite Cadre content to show off and highlight this exciting new kit. Also was great to see the painting station populated! Look forward to the end of the month for our Paint Appreciation Society gallery to show off our Members efforts for the month. See you all at the next club meet on the… Read moreFarewell to March, Bring on April!!

Choosing a Painting Scheme

This is the first in a few hobby related articles that I plan to write. I am a notoriously lazy painter, and have transitioned to pretty much only using GW Contrast paints as a once-and-done solution, but that is no reason to not have beautiful models with just a little care and colour theory. For this, I will be referencing models that I have painted in the past, and then in the next couple of articles, progress to painting a new set of models for one of my Warmachine Armies. First of all, why should you listen to me? I… Read moreChoosing a Painting Scheme

Amazing turn out for March 6th!

What another fantastic turn out – 4 tables of Warmachine, side by side! This community is growing very nicely, and goes to show that if you want Warmachine in the South-West UK, then TTC is the place to find it! It’s not long until our Casual Play Day if you want to turn up and learn more about warfare in the Iron Kingdoms. That is not to detract at all from the 40K games also going on, or the Kill Team Demo Night being run – the club is doing well, and is the place to be for all types… Read moreAmazing turn out for March 6th!

Not forgetting the hobby

This weeks’ update is kind of a minor one really, but it is an important aspect of what we all like to do. The Hobby. Shortly, we will be launching a hobby section on this website that we will be using to showcase our attendees models, as well as (hopefully) regular hobby-centric articles, whether its painting, terrain, kitbashing or something else entirely (did someone say Battle Reports?!). While the cynics would be right that this is partly in aid of appeasing the almighty algorithm and increasing our visibility on social media – we do hope to be a helpful and… Read moreNot forgetting the hobby

Special Events Coming Soon!

We might have only been in action for one week, and this might be our “week off” on the schedule, but the Committee aren’t resting – we are busy planning ahead for more ways that you can come join us at the tabletop. The first two special events to announce are an open play/casual gaming day for Warmachine on the 29th March run by myself, and we are honoured to host the annual absolutely massive Tivendus game of Warhammer 40K Apocalypse run by Steven H! Check them out on their respective pages behind the all-new “Special Events” menu header, and… Read moreSpecial Events Coming Soon!

We’re Back!

Thanks to everyone who attended last night – it was a blast seeing everyone again and wonderful to see the hall so busy 😀 We had two 40K tables, two Warmachine tables, and two Bloodbowl tables, all with an amazing atmosphere. Here’s to the next session, see you on the 20th February!

Welcome to the Tiverton Tabletop Club

We are a group of like minded wargamers, who all like to gather and roll dice against each other in games of fantasy or science fiction. The group meets on alternating Thursdays (see the event list in the side bar to the right, or below on mobile, to find out when the next session is). More information about the club, including relevant fees and who is part of the club Committee can be found from the menu bar above.
