Just one week to go! In fact, at the time of writing, this time next week we will be just starting round 3 of day one.
Important announcement first – due to having to finalise logistics of things, I have now capped the event to 20 places. This means there is only one ticket remaining! Buy your ticket now and register on Longshanks to make sure you don’t miss out, in case you have been on the fence. This is your last chance!
If you have been following along, you will be excited to see the last of the 3D printed art reveals, but also; New Steamroller – New Objectives! This will be given out to all attendees at registration (as well as a set of event dice). Colour choice is first come first served, so don’t be late 😉 Additionally, at registration I will be handing out car parking passes for those in the venue carpark, so if you have driven make sure you don’t miss this.
As mentioned on the event page, food is not included, however I will be organising a run to the chippy for those interested during the tail end of round 2 so that people don’t spend their lunch break wandering back and forward. I will have a menu that people can choose from at registration and after round 1 – cash/PayPal/bank transfer all accepted. There will also be cans of drink available for £1 each, with proceeds going to the club. And for the same price, I might even try and remember some tea and coffee… There is of course unlimited tap water also available for people to refill their drinks bottles, and you are very welcome to eat your own food on the premises.
In the evening, I have not booked a table anywhere for those wishing to socialise, but there is a Wetherspoons a very short walk away (or drive, though pub parking is pay and display). I certainly intend to go there following the end of the day on Saturday, and I welcome all who fancy to come and join me.
