TTC is proud to present the WM Tivvy Tussle!
This is a rather eventful update! While a bunch of you are no doubt looking forward to this weekends’ Tivendus Apocalypse game (ticket sales are now closed, I am afraid), we have our next Warmachine event on the horizon – Just 4 short weeks away, I am excited to announce the the Tivvy Tussle! This is a 100pt Steamroller (with prize support!) for up to 16 players. Check out the page here to secure your ticket, and don’t forget to register on Longshanks either. As a final reminder, next club meet is the 1st May – come along to revel… Read moreEventful!
Another great turn out – 3 games each of 40K and Warmachine! Certainly plenty of War to be found, but no glimpse of any Easter bunny…. perhaps it was a casualty….
Last night was yet another packed evening! 3 tables of Warmachine, and also 3 tables of 40K – one of which was a riveting 3 player / 3 way game! However, and this is where the “Oops” is…, I was so carried away in my own game that I forgot to take photos for once, until right at the end when things were all but done and getting packed up! Oh well, I will try harder next time!
The Warmachine Casual Play day was a massive success – many games and much fun for all involved. There is definitely going to be more WM Organised Play to come in the future, watch this space 😉 But for now, pictures are worth more than words so take a look!
This is the last time I push our Casual Play Day, honest… But that is because it is this weekend!! Come along to find out more about this resurging game. To whet your appetite in the meantime, read this three game report from Elite Cadre, of whom we are lucky to count one of the hosts as our regular attendees. Alternatively in a few hours (silly o’clock UK time), is the SFG Warmachine Keynote presentation being streamed from Adepticon. There is plenty of gossip to be had and discussed on Saturday, I am sure – it is lining up to… Read moreWarmachine-ing Time!
Lots more awesome games last night! if you look closely (this week, and previous) you can even see some beautifully painted models from SFG’s upcoming Warmachine 2 Player set – Shadows and Scum, as our regular member Kurt gets some games in ready for some future Elite Cadre content to show off and highlight this exciting new kit. Also was great to see the painting station populated! Look forward to the end of the month for our Paint Appreciation Society gallery to show off our Members efforts for the month. See you all at the next club meet on the… Read moreFarewell to March, Bring on April!!
This is the first in a few hobby related articles that I plan to write. I am a notoriously lazy painter, and have transitioned to pretty much only using GW Contrast paints as a once-and-done solution, but that is no reason to not have beautiful models with just a little care and colour theory. For this, I will be referencing models that I have painted in the past, and then in the next couple of articles, progress to painting a new set of models for one of my Warmachine Armies. First of all, why should you listen to me? I… Read moreChoosing a Painting Scheme
What another fantastic turn out – 4 tables of Warmachine, side by side! This community is growing very nicely, and goes to show that if you want Warmachine in the South-West UK, then TTC is the place to find it! It’s not long until our Casual Play Day if you want to turn up and learn more about warfare in the Iron Kingdoms. That is not to detract at all from the 40K games also going on, or the Kill Team Demo Night being run – the club is doing well, and is the place to be for all types… Read moreAmazing turn out for March 6th!
Our second week was just as strong as the first, with some amazingly tense games of 40K, and Warmachine being played out. We look forward to seeing you back on the 6th March.
